How To Use Crystal Grids

A crystal grid is a special arrangement of crystals. It is used to manifest a desired result or intention. The healing properties of the crystals used, combined with their arrangement in a sacred geometric pattern, creates a unique energy combination. This energy can be used to enhance your intention.

Step 1.

Choose your intention or what you want to manifest.

Step 2.

Choose crystals that align with your intention. Choose 1 crystal that will be your focus or anchor stone. Crystal will go in the centre of your grid.

Next choose your supporting stones, I like to have a supply of Clear Quartz Points as these will enhance all intentions.

Step 3.

Choose your grid pattern. You may have a grid board already, alternatively a simple Google search of Crystal Grid Patterns will bring up a lot of results. You can can print out a pattern to use or just use it as a guide.

Step 4.

Place your focus or anchor crystal in the centre of your grid. Be sure to place this stone with intention. As you’re placing the crystal onto the grid template, state your intention either out loud or silently to yourself. Or you could even place a written intention beneath this crystal at the very centre of your crystal grid.

Step 5.

Place the remaining crystals around the anchor crystal. Make sure to follow the shape of your chosen crystal grid template. Place them exactly along the lines of the shape you’ve selected. Proper alignment of the sacred geometry shape is necessary for proper energy flow. As you are placing each of the remaining crystals, state your intention for them.

Step 6.

To activate and enhance the energy of the grid, you may use a clear quartz crystal point or a Selenite blade to link the energy of all the crystals within the grid. It is most effective if you visualise each of these connections as lines of white light, linking the energy of each individual stone into one cohesive unit.

Here's how:

- Point your wand over the centre stone.
- Set your intention to link the energy of all crystals within the grid so that they work together toward your intention.
- Moving from the centre, “draw” a line to a crystal on the outside edge of the grid.
- Moving clockwise, “draw” a line to the next crystal on the outside edge of the grid. Then draw it back to the central crystal (creating a triangle between the three).
- Move back up this same line to the crystal you just came from, then clockwise to the next outside crystal, and then back again to the centre. This should create a second triangle that shares one side with the first.
- Continue in this fashion until you have connected all crystals and arrive back in the centre of the grid.
- Finally, point the point of your Quartz crystal toward the centre of the grid. This will infuse it with universal energy so that it may carry out its purpose. It’s important to hold your intention in mind while performing the activation.
